What happens if you drop your paddle during a play?

Hi Andrew,

You can pick it up again but you aren't allowed to hit the ball if you haven't got the paddle in your hand.

If the ball hits any part of the top of the table then the ball is in play. If it only hits the side of the table then it is out.
