can i play a drop shot on a deep lob, if yes then how?

Hi Bhaavan,

You can play a drop shot off a deep lob but it is much harder to play effectively. In our lesson on the drop shot off a lob we recommend that you play this off a shorter ball.

If you must play it off a deep lob, then the principles are the same so watch the lesson to find out the main points on how to play it. However, it is going to be more difficult to execute as you need to hit the ball further to clear the net but still need to try and keep the ball short for the drop shot to be effective.
