Distance between tables

Is 4 feet acceptable as a distance between tables for recreational play?

Hi David,

I would recommend a little more in general depending on the amount of movement and speed of shots that the players have.

I would leave about that distance for very young children that are just beginning but as players start to move more they need more space.
