Hi Alois and Pingskills

in the minute, 1:16; 1:37; 1:48 and more times in that match.  This is the serve, my question is, can i make that serve with penhold grip?

Hi Cristh,

This is the Reverse Tomahawk serve.  I think you can do this with the penhold grip.  You can use the reverse side to hit the ball.

The serve can be effective.  Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.  It certainly works for Ding Ning.

Hi Cristh,

Yes getting down low will help you to get the ball lower as well.  You need to be hitting the ball when it is quite low to the table.  If you are standing up with that action the ball will be contacted very high and so will bounce high.
