Dear Alois,

I would like to get to know the difference between the backhand and the forehand and what poses more of a difficulty towards your opponent. Are these two types of strokes the same?

Thank You,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

It is more about where the ball comes to you on your side of the table and what position you are in as to which of these strokes to use.  Take a look through our lessons on the Strokes & Technique.
