What is ideal diet for a player during matches & practice?

Hi Kaustubh,

Before a big tournament, carbohydrates are good for energy.

During a tournament I find things like, fruit buns are great.  They have a good mix of carbohydrates and fruit.

Also remember to keep hydrated.  Water is best for this.  you may decide to use some sports drinks, but keep this to a minimum.  Water should be the most important thing.

Remember to eat well all the time through not just before a match or training. Make it a part of your life rather than a diet.

Don't have a really big meal before your match I recommend eating pasta before a match it gives you energy which is what you need
