Hi Jeff and Alois.

I was wondering from these two rubbers, which one is spinnier and bouncier?

I use peter korbal blade with tenergy 05 for forehand and xiom omega 4 asia for backhand

but i just want to know which of the DHS from these two is faster.

Thank you

Hi Chris,

I don't know much about the DHS rubbers. If anyone else can offer some advice for Chris then please leave a comment.

DHS HURRICANE NEO IS FASTER BUT NOT A LOT.

TENERGY IS DEFINITELY HEAPS FASTER THAN BOTH

BUt still a good rubber

neo is a 100% more bouncier than the normal one

neo for speed

normal for spin

imo :) hope it helps

does neo feel more better, also my tenergy is very old so I think I'll have to change later on, my friend is buying me a xiom axelo blade with xiom sigma euro for backhand, so I wanted a rubber that ma long uses, but I discovered that Zhang Jike uses DHS hurricane 3, so I was just wondering.

I like glue better than glue sheets. Once the glue sheet gets a bit of dirt on it, it becomes difficult to stick the rubber.

Depends on what you like really. Hurricane 3 neo is a bit better for drive and hurricane 3 is better for chinese loop

If you're playing with Tenergy and Xiom rubbers, I would suggest that you shouldn't try the Chinese rubbers because you would most likely be annoyed by the dead feel of the rubbers.  They just don't bounce at all!! If you play away from the table or if you're playing with the new plastic ball, you would have to hit the ball with much more power.  The H3 Neo is a bit bouncier than the regular H3; I guess this is due to the improved sponge.  I think both have the same top sheet.  I would recommend that if any players in your club are using these rubbers, ask them if you can have a hit with it for 10 minutes.  If you like the feel of the Chinese rubbers, then go out and buy the H3 Neo.

There is a nice review of Hurricane 8 by TTDaily -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hghShleb-aU.

Also, Xiom has a very nice rubber Xiom Vega China that is similar to H3 Neo, though the sponge is not that hard. I use it and enjoy very much, I switched to it after playing for a month with H3 Neo. And DHS itself has several hybrid rubbers with tacky topsheet and softer sponge: Hurricane 3-50, Gold Arc 3, Tin Arc etc.
