Hi Alois,

I bought a paddle a while back and it was premade. It is the DHS 6002 6 star paddle that has both Hurricane 3 and Tin Arc rubber. It was working quite well for me but is old and worn now so im in need of a new paddle. My game has been improving recently and i think i not only need to get a new paddle but i need to upgrade to something better than i have had. So i was wondering if you could suggest a blade, forehand rubber, and backhand rubber that are better than my last. I am pretty offencive on both my forehand and backhand and do alot of topspin and use lots of speed, dont know if u needed to know that but just thought it might make it easyier. Thanks for all your advice and help.

Hi Matthew,

The PingSkills Touch with Mark V is as good as any.

Others may have suggestions for you as well.

The DHS 6002 is an OFF-/OFF blade with the Hurricane 3 rubber being tacky and the Tin Arc being non tacky. Alois, you are recommending him an ALL round blade with classic Yasaka Mark V rubbers with less spin and more bounce. If you are used to a tacky chinese rubber on your forehand on an OFF blade, and then switch to an ALL blade with Mark V's it will feel weird. DHS rubbers are 'dead feeling' therefore you have so much more control in the short game, where as the Yasaka Mark V's are very bouncy and have slightly less spin. Maybe the differences are balanced out due to it being on a much slower ALL blade.

My recommendation: Judging from your question and comment on Alois' answer, I can tell that you need to focus on your technique rather than blaming your equipment.
