Hello Alois and Jeff!

I wish to develop a more aggressive backhand. Over the time i am playing table tennis, I have developed a solid forehand, but backhand is my worst part. I can hit nice pushes and blocks, but every time I try to hit faster the ball goes over the table. I've watched your lessons carefully but when it comes to practice, it is hard for me not to fail.

Hi Vaidotas,

If the ball is going off the end of the table you may not be getting enough topspin on the ball to get it to dip back down onto the table.  It is hard to tell without seeing you play the shot.

  3. Finish Position: Completing the stroke in a way that prepares you for the next shot.

Additionally, we discuss how to adjust your bat angle if the ball goes long, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the same start and finish positions without coming across your body.

Whether you're a beginner aiming to build a solid foundation or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, this comprehensive guide is designed to enhance your game.
