Hi alois and jeff!.can you tell me how to play a ball which is coming fast to your crossover point when smashed or looped.i have a real problem when ball comes to my crossover point. thank you!

Hi Harikrishnan,

This is always a difficult position to play the ball from.  However, the crossover point is only relevant if you don't have time to move a little sideways so that it comes into the forehand or backhand side. 

If the ball is really fast and you don't have time, it is probably easier to hit the ball with the backhand.  Just move your elbow out of the way so that your bat is now in the middle covering that crossover point.
