Hi Coach,

Today I saw a person practising topspin but his action was bit different from mine. He used to take his hand from bit low and behind like everyone does but at last his hand end it position is slightly above the shoulder (topspin on block). My action ends just in front for my nose (topspin on block). Which one's action is correct or both are doing wrong?

Hi Tushar,

I like players to learn to finish with their bats near their eyebrow.  This allows better topspin and safety with the stroke.  You will often see players finish lower around their shoulders, but this a a riskier stroke.

You can get a faster action with your arm however as we talked about above it does make it less reliable.
