Confused about serves

Hi,

when i play table tennis the opponent gives different serves and i often confuse which action to use and i lose my points so please advice....

Hi Sandeep,

Returning serve is one of the hardest parts of the game.

The key is to not try to do too much.  Just use the angle of your racket to steer the ball back on the table.  As you see where the ball is going with each return you will start to adjust naturally to the spin.

Fake Movements

After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.
