Hi,

I am a close to the table attacking player. How to I do a quick and spinny topspin without doing the full topspin forehand or backhand stroke? Thanks!

Hi Hao,

You don’t need the full swing as long as your bat is still moving along the same path as it would for the full stroke.  So think about your full stroke and then make it a little shorter.  The less time you have the shorter your stroke can be.

Strawberry Flick

The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.
