What backhand rubber would you recommend for a player who plays close to the table?
I would like to be able to do a backhand flick and counter topspin easier, should I use a spin type or speed type rubber?
Thanks.

Hi Tommy,
I don' have any specific but I would recommend something with more spin than speed. As you are close to the table the ball will come off quite fast anyway. The spin will allow you better control and safety with the counterspin strokes.

The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
