Cleaning my rubbers

Hi PingSkills,
I have a couple of friends that plays table tennis with me occasionally. I love my bat and take a good care of it too. Everytime after a match, I would use a damp cloth to clean my rubbers. Everyday, I play approximately 3 matches.Iis cleaning my bat three times a day too much? And also most of my friends use a bit of water on a damp sponge for cleaning their rubbers. Is using a sponge better than using a cloth? Thank you so much for your answers!

Cleaning the bat three times a day isn't too much. Either a cloth or a sponge is fine.
