Hi Daniel,

The best thing for cleaning your rubber is to wipe it with a damp sponge.  Water will get the dust and dirt off the rubber.  If you clean it regularly with a damp sponge it will stay in good condition.

Make sure the sponge or cloth is not abrasive.  Use something soft.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Hey alois, i tried the damp sponge method with my old hurricane and and when i returned to the shop owner, he asked me not to clean it with water as it lost it's tackiness. He reccomended just cleaning it once in a while with a cleaner. What do you think about this?

I think water is the best.
