Strategy
Hi Alois and Jeff,
When should I play a chop? And what are its advantages and disadvantages?
Hi Archel,
You can play a chop if the ball is not long enough to loop or if you are in a defensive position and you have the time to make a chop swing at the ball. This is especially when you are further away from the table.
The advantages are that if you keep it low enough it will make it difficult for your opponent to attack strongly. But, if the ball goes up high or they like to play against long chop balls they will be able to attack you again.
