I see a lot of stuff about robot training and such, but like are there any set drills that you know of that are strictly on using LP or basically Chop training. There are plenty of other drills, but if you knew of any drills I could do to practice Back hand and forehand chopping I would love it

Thank you :D

Hi Darren,

One really good drill is to make a forehand chop off a topspin then a backhand chop off a topspin and then come in and make a push of a short ball.  This will get you moving quickly side to side and also in and out which is important for a copper.

You can then make it the other way around so you are moving from backhand to forehand and then the short ball.

You can also do a more random drill where you are getting topspin balls and then randomly a short ball that you have to move in for.  Sometimes the short ball could be higher where you are able to topspin or smash it.
