Sir, when my opp. attacks, it feels very comfortable to chop rather than blocking. but, my chops misses as i am not a defender. i am an attacker. why does chopping feel comfortable? But, blocking is great.

Hi Earl,

You may be a naturally defensive player.  You can persevere with it and see if you can develop your chopping.

Or work on your block stroke by staying close to the table.

sir, I may be a natural defensive player. But, i have good b/h loop strokes better than any other player i my club ad i dont want to be a defensive player. How to break up the feel of chopping?

In training, set yourself the task of topspinning every long ball.  With a change in mindset you will change your positioning.
