i have another couple of questions

1. how can i return a very spinny chop serve

2.how can i return a reverse backspin pendulum serve

Hi Martin,

It is probably easiest to push this back.  Open up the angle of your racket to allow for the heavy backspin.

To return a Reverse Pendulum backspin serve you can also push the return.  Allow for the sidespin and the backspin.  The ball will spin off to your left so face your bat to the right.  You also need to allow for the backspin by have an open angle on your racket.

Fake Movements

After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.
