How to identify the quality of bat?

Hi Dawa,

This is a really difficult thing to do.  You have to look at the quality of the rubber as well the quality of the bat.

The first thing to look at is to make sure the rubber has a flat surface.  The rubber when you rub your finger across it should have a grippy surface.  It should have a layer of sponge under the rubber surface as well.  In most cases, this will be a different colour to the red or black of the rubber so will be easily identifiable.

There are literally thousands of combinations that you can choose.  That is why we recommend a few bats through PingSkills that we know will be good.  You can choose the PingSkills Rook which is a good pre-made bat and is ideal as a first bat.

Then we recommend the PingSkills Touch as your next bat.  This is with Mark V rubber t start with and then you can progress to Yasaka Pryde and Vega Pro as you advance in skills.

I hope this helps you with your decisions.
