Can you explain the difference between Chinese's topspin stroke to Europeans or the rest of the world?

Hi Mayo,

There is a notional difference between the two types.  The Europeans contact more of the bak of the ball and rely on the ball sinking into the rubber to generate the spin. The Chinese topspin tends you use the friction of the bat hitting the top of the ball fast to generate the spin.

Strawberry Flick

The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.

Does it matter what equipment you play with ? Playing with Europeans rubbers with Chinese's Technique ?

Marginally.  The softer rubbers are better for the European stroke and the harder rubbers are better for the Chinese strokes.
