Can you explain the difference between Chinese's topspin stroke to Europeans or the rest of the world?

Hi Mayo,

There is a notional difference between the two types. Β The Europeans contact more of the bak of the ball and rely on the ball sinking into the rubber to generate the spin. The Chinese topspin tends you use the friction of the bat hitting the top of the ball fast to generate the spin.

Does it matter what equipment you play with ? Playing with Europeans rubbers with Chinese's Technique ?

Marginally. Β The softer rubbers are better for the European stroke and the harder rubbers are better for the Chinese strokes.
