Hi Sir Alois.

Im gonna buy Joola training 1 star balls.  They are really hard balls and never break.

One of friends said if I practice with one star or hard and fast balls they may gradually damage my technique.  Is that right?  Unfortunately here I can only find joola balls. I just want them for serve practicing and multiball training.

And another question, can I have chinese tacky rubbers on my forehand and play like the european style? Like Zhang Jike? I have heard they are really good to loop heavy backspin balls.

Hi Ali,

The Joola balls will be good for serving and multiball.  They are not as good as a 3 star ball but then if you tried to buy all 3 star balls you will quickly run out of money.

The Chinese rubbers are fine. They don't make such a big difference that you can't play any style.  They are good to loop heavy backspin.  Just go with it and then train as hard as you can.
