Do you think that tacky rubber such as DHS Skyline/Hurricane last longer than rubbers from Butterfly, Donic, Stiga, Xiom etc.

Hi Benji,

I don't think they last longer or shorter in general.  I think it depends on each type of rubber and also how you are using it.

Others may have some ideas for you as well.

I have one theory, which is: owners of blades with tacky rubbers usually use rubber protectors but I have seen many players who have non tacky rubbers just put their blade straight into bat cases with no protectors. I think this will shorten the life of the rubber. Otherwise my experience of tacky v non tacky is that if you look after them they last about the same. I haven't really used tensor rubbers so will leave others to comment on them.
