Hi Alois,

Why do people check their opponents rackets before playing a match? What do they see in them?

Hi,

They are looking for the typs of rubber they are using mainly.  They are checking if they are using reverse pimple rubber or short pimples or long pimples or anti spin or some other variation.

This will determine how the ball reacts to the shots you are giving your opponent.
