Strokes
hey !!!!
i have just seen one of your videos on grips and i have found out a problem in my grip due to which i have to adjust my grip when changing from forehand to backhand now i have practised a lot with that grip should i really change my older grip to the new shakehand grip i have just discovered?? will i have to start from the beginning or will the basics be the same??and finally how much time will it take me to adapt the new grip if you do advice me to (i practise for an hour a day)
really need some good advice!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Pavan,
You should use the new grip. It won;t take you long to adjust. Just make sure you keep reminding yourself of the grip regularly during training. You certainly won;t have to start at the beginning, just allow yourself to adjust while you keep training.
With an hour a day it won't take long to make the change.
In this video we show you a simple trick to improve your strokes by making them more economical. You'll notice increased power for less effort. When you tense your muscles too much you actually get less power and become more tired. However when you relax the opposite happens. It's why all the best players look like they are hitting the ball so hard without much effort.
