Hi Alois, for the holidays I wanted to get a new racket and I'm strongly inclined towards a Donic Waldner 1000 racket which has a carbon base. I just wanted to know the difference between wood and carbon handles because all my rackets so far had wood handles. I heard that it was much lighter then wood. Also, what do you think about the racket?
Hi Mike,
The main thing with the carbon rackets is that they are lighter and perhaps faster.
I think you need to haver a hit with a similar racket before outlaying the money. It is the only way to really tell whether you like it.
Any other readers can help out here with the Donic Waldner 1000.
Each serve, the wheel decides your opponent’s weapon: a frying pan, book, meat cleaver… or maybe a real racket if you're lucky.
Watch chaos unfold as these two battle it out with the world’s weirdest rackets—and a mystery twist if anyone reaches match point!
💥 Who wins when every point is unpredictable?
🍳 Will the frying pan dominate?
🪓 Will the meat cleaver claim victory?
