Can't do a Forehand Drive properly

Hello, I'm a beginner and I'm having trouble in doing a forehand drive because the ball kept hitting the net or outside. And I can't even control the ball to my partner's right side because the ball goes everywhere. My partner also said that I'm doing the Forehand Drive incorrectly because I kept doing a forehand topspin.

Hi Joar,

Focus a lot on the start and finish.  If you feel like you are getting too much topspin, contact the ball slightly flatter and forward.

When you need to reach that really wide ball the regular shuffle step just won't get you there in time so you need to use the crossover step. This is essentially a running action to get you to the ball as fast as possible.
