Hi,
The best advice I can give you is to work hard on the strokes first. Make sure you can play the strokes well. Take a look at all of our lessons on the PingSkills Lessons Page.
Then work on consistency of these strokes. Don't be in a hurry, and just enjoy playing this wonderful game. You won't be do anything exceot getting better.
