Hi Alois,

I am considering the purchase of a table tennis table for our shed. Mostly just for fun as no signs of any serious competitors at this stage.... to be fair the kids probably a little young to make the call :)

Do you think it is still worth going for a brand table so that I can have a good hit with my mum (she was quite good her name is Sharyn) or just grab something from Rebel.

 A big fan :)

Hi Sarah,

Nice to hear that you are playing again and getting the kids into it as well.

Also great to hear that you are getting your Mum into it!

The main things to look for in a table is the thickness of the top and the portability including the size and sturdiness of the wheels that they use.

I would go for whatever you can with the thickest top first.

Choosing a Table Tennis Table

The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
