Equipment
Hi, just getting into table tennis, and I realised that the beginner rackets provided at our university club (GKI Kung fu dx) generate next to no spin. Upon asking for an affordable recommendation from a local table tennis supplier, he suggested the Butterfly Stayer 3000.
Is this bat good? Can it easily generate spin, as the bats I played with previously need a lot of effort to spin.
Hi Krisnaraj,
That racket is a good one to use as a starter racket.
You will be able to generate some spin and also learn your strokes.
If that doesn't work out we have the PingSkills Rook which is also made for players learning and will be able to generate spin and control the ball.
Question actions
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
