Equipment
Hi there coach, I recently purchased a DONIC Baracuda for my backhand and had it glued. Before it was glued, the rubber surface looked perfectly normal and flat, but as soon as it was glued, I noticed that the rubber surface had "bumpy" surface. Is this because of how the rubber was glued? Will this affect my game? If I were to reglue it, how long should I wait before I could remove the rubber and reglue it again? I bought the rubber one week ago, thanks.
Hi Wayne,
The bubbles may be wet glue. It may settle down after a while. If it doesn't you may have to take the rubber off and reglue it. Just make sure the glue is quite dry before you stick it on.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

thanks coach, but can I reglue the rubber NOW or should I wait for a certain amount of time before I could peel the rubber off? By the way, I got the rubber just a week ago, thanks
Yes you can take it off now.
