Brushing or Hitting The ball

Strokes

Hey. I'm just a bit unsure about brushing the ball or hitting the ball more.   I am a beginner, so should I put more momentum / speed into my attack strokes or brush them more?  Or is this just a personal preference?

Thanks.

Hi Johnny,

Have a combination of both spin and speed.  To start with though keep your stroke slower and with less spin and aim for consistency to be able to get a lot of balls on the table in a row.
