I use the blade TSP Reflex Award Allround which has an half absorption in the handle. About 4 weeks ago I asked in a Tt shop if its broken near the handle. He said that its normal that the handle wobbles a Bit because the half absortion in the handle and because its "just" an allround blade. Yesterday I asked one of my coaches if it's broken. It feels like it doesnt wobble anymore but he said that he believes its broken. After that I asked an older player (about 60 years) and he said that it isnt broken. Now I'm not sure if its broken or not. How can I find it out?

Thanks, Lukas

Hi Lukas,

Place the bat on the table with the handle off the end.  Press down very gently on the handle and see if any gaps or crack appear near the neck of the blade.  Sometimes it may just be the top of the handle coming away from the blade as well.

Make sure though that you are gently and apply a small amount of pressure just until it flexes slightly.
