Hi sir,

I started playing table tennis since last 2 years in my office and I learn all the shots and services from your website but I am not able to improve on my reflex even after watching your videos on reflex. Whenever my opponents hit the ball just by seeing his actions I close my eyes and turn around even I stand little far away from my table just like you shows in the reflex video.

Now so far I am good with everything except returning the smash and topspin because of fear that's the reason i fail to return the ball can you help me in this as I am loosing hope to play table tennis further as I am not able to improve now.

Hi Nazeer,

First try to watch the ball.  Remember it won't really hurt you.

Then just try to get as much practice against a faster ball.  You can do this with Multiball by getting someone to hit the ball at your faster and see if you can improve your ability to watch the ball and then react by just moving your bat initially.

Practising with partners who can do several fast  topspin in a row really helped me to overcome the fear.
