Dear Alois/Jeff:

I have been using DHS Hurricane 3 for my Forehand and G888 for my backhand. I find that these rubbers are inconsistent with my playstyle, which is a very short game. I don't like going even a few feet away from the table because i tend to play a very block like playstyle. Any rubbers you recommend for a blocker?

By the way i really loved your videos on the forehand and backhand block. Really helped me get my strokes up to par.

Hi Darren,

The one we would recommend is Mark V.  But anything that has a good control rating is what you are looking for.  Perhaps our readers have some more suggestions for you.

Keep working on your technique as well.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
