Equipment
Hey Jeff/Alois, I own a Yasaka Mark V 2.1mm and a Tibhar MX-P 2.1mm rubber and I am looking for a good blade to pair these rubbers with and in my choices are Tibhar Samsonov Alpha and Stiga allround classic.. Which blade do you think I should buy? And do you have any other suggestions under $35? I like offensive play but also like to spin the ball. please reply at the earliest :) Thank you in advance :)
Hi Vishal,
I think both are the OK. Choose one of them and then train hard.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Hi coach,
I hope I'm not annoying you but table tennis rubbers are expensive hence I'm asking you the question. You told me to put mark v rubbers on my donic carbotec 900.I just want to know if it's worthwhile spending on the bat or I need to try another blade with the mark v rubbers. And yes your tutorials have definitely boosted my confidence to play table tennis .I have started to play the game once again after a break of 25 years, and I'm enjoying every moment .Thanks to ping skills
Hi Sujeet,
The blade doesn't make a big difference as long as it is a reasonable rubber. You can try the Mark V rubbers on the same blade or a new blade.
