Blade suggestions for Yasaka Mark V

Equipment

Hi Alios/Jeff,

I started playing the game like few months back casually and unfortunately my first racket is an GKI Offensive XX (Indian).  Some how my game ended up being offensive in nature and the spins i try with my racket is not good enough (not acceptable). Though the racket works to satisfaction with my straight offensive shot (both FH and BH) and chops, the top spins are not up to my satisfaction.

So, i decided to build a custom racket which can help myself to have more control, spin in my game and also retain my effective offensive game.

I have narrowed down to Andro CSV (Off +) with Yasaka Mark V (2.0mm) on both sides with anatomic grip(large hands)

The intention is to learn and play a controlled game with spin. Eventually the goal is to graduate to a different rubber on the same blade as i progress .

looking forward to hear your expert opinion.

Thanks,
Vish

Hi Vishnukkanth,

It sounds like a reasonable combination to me.  Others may have more input about specifics.

Thanks Alois,

Any opinion on the Andro blades, i just choose that as that seems to be the best bet for the price as per tabletennisdb.com

Do you suggest any other blades?

please share your thoughts.

Vish

That will be OK. Andro is a good brand.

GKI Offensive XX was my first bat.

They are quite popular in India.
