i want to know who is the best player in the world today, and who was the biggest player ever?

Hi Orr,
This month in the Mens Zhang Jike is ranked number 1 in the world but there are 5 Chinese players ranked at the top of the World rankings that are all capable of winning depending on the day. Timo Boll is the first non Chinese ranked player.
In the Womens, there are four Chinese players at the top with Ding Ning currently number 1.
For a discussion on the best player I always start it with Jan Ove Waldner from Sweden.
