Thanks for all your work on this site! It's a table tennis gold mine.
I haven't seen everything you've done, so this may already be on the site. My question is: how can I be a better training partner? (The person feeding the ball, not the person working to improve.) Are there certain strokes or techniques that I should know how to use? How can I feed multi-ball well? What would be a good mindset for a training partner? Maybe that would be good material for a future video:)
Hi Rex,
Thanks for your kind words.
I think the first step is to take a look at the tutorials on Utilise Multiball, Introduction to Multiball and How to Feed Multiball.
These will give you the basics you are looking for.
Secondly I think working on your Blocking is important to be able to help your training partner. Take a look at the tutorial on Improving your Block. This will help your training partner but it will also help you with your game as the Block is an important part of the game.
As far as a mindset I think it is about talking to your training partner to see what they are looking for in the session. Often if you have that conversation you can both find synergies that can help both of you to train more effectively.
One of the most satisfying feelings in Table Tennis is when you play a big forehand topspin that curls out wide past your opponent for a winner. In this wee's session we concentrate on developing our sidespin topspin forehand so you can enjoy that feeling more often.
