Bat Too Fast

hello i just started playing table tennis and i have a custom made bat that is a mazanov off+ bat and sriver fx rubber for both side and i am having problem with hitting the ball i mean it seems that i have not that perfect control on my bat for example when i do forehand counterhit or topspin the ball goes out of table do you think the BAT is my problem or something else ?

Hi Justin,

It certainly does sound like you have a bat that is too fast for you. For a beginner I would recommend something slower in the blade as well as the rubber.  Perhaps a Blade with n All Round Rating and a rubber with much more control.

This is a common mistake for beginners.  Always err on th eside of control to start with so that you can develop your strokes.
