hi sir, i am santosh i have jonyer h-2 blade with tenergy 80 as forehand and mark v yasaka as backhand, it it good for me, as i am intermediate level of player. while practcing match or anything , my game is only attack and chop, but when competitions come my game shifts gear and i got defence mode, in which i lose my game, i think this is due to lack of confidence. "i want to ask you one question" which serve do you choose for thid ball attack?

Hi Santosh,

There isn't one serve that is good for 3rd ball attack.  Try to find a serve that your opponent doesn't like and isn't ready for.

You want to gain a small advantage out of your serve to get the ball a little higher so that you can make a stronger ball.

It is a good idea to attack early in the rally straight after your serve.

Your lack of confidence will have a lot to do with your ability in the match to make the attack.  This combination is something that you need to practice a lot in training.  Then try to relax more during your matches and allow yourself to make the attack first.

Hi Santosh,

The main thing is to work on your serve and 3rd ball strategies if your main focus is this tournament.  I think though that if you get too caught up with each tournament you forget about the bigger picture and your overall improvement.
