How often should I clean my bat rubber, and what should I use? Up to now I use a propriety bat-cleaning foam (by Joola) and use it maybe every few weeks.

Ideally after every session — a quick wipe is enough.
Why clean it regularly?

Removes dust, ball residue, and sweat oils that reduce spin.

Keeps the surface grippy, especially important for tacky or soft rubbers.
What to use?

For everyday cleaning: just water and a clean damp sponge (ideally a soft one made for rubbers). Wipe gently and let it air dry.

Avoid harsh soaps or alcohol, which can dry out or damage the surface.
Extra tip: After cleaning, use a rubber protector film to keep dust off and maintain tackiness longer.
