Serving
Hi alois i see many of the top players serve with a high elbow position when they serve sidespin backspin I do not understand the Mechanics of how they can get the backspin part of the service. how do you get underneath the ball to generate the backspin with a high elbow position ball could you explain this? a good example is 'Paul drinkhall vs Darius Knight senior British League 2016' Cheers
Hi Tam,
To get backspin with the high elbow, left the end of your bat up higher. This will get the angle of the bat right for generating the straight backspin.
