Dear Pingskills,

I have been practicing a short backspin serve for a while. I am able to keep it low and short, but I can't get much spin on the ball.

Could you tell me how to apply more backspin on my serve?

 Thanks

Hi Yacine,

Try getting a finer contact on the ball.  Still hit the ball directly into your own side of the table.  The brushing contact will generate the spin.
