What is Topspin and backspin? How to play Topspin and backspin?

Hi Siddharth,
If the ball if travelling away from you:
Topspin is when the ball is rotating with the top part of the ball rotating away from you.
Backspin is the opposite. The top of the ball is rotating towards you.
To play a topspin stroke take a look at the Forehand Counterhit stroke which puts a little topspin on the ball.
For backspin take a look at the Backhand Push stroke which puts a little backspin on the ball.

There isn't much in that price range. The main thing is to get something with reasonable rubber. Take a look at our tutorial on Choosing a Table Tennis Bat.
