Backspin

Hi there,

My backspin strokes doesnt have much backspin. What can I do to increase the amount the amount of backspin?

Hi Saurabh,

Get your bat right under the ball.  Even where the bat is laying flat facing the roof.  This will allow you to brush right at the base of the ball.

Get the stroke to go straight forward towards the net.  You need to concentrate on the brushing contact.  Then as with all other spin, yo need to get the action fast so that it gets the ball spinning faster.
