Strokes
hi ive been playing table tennis for about 6 months i've mastered most of my shots except the backhand topspin i know to rip the hand over the top but i can never get as much topspin on my backhand than i can with my forehand so i was just wondering can u answer my question please.
Hi Jackson,
Try concentrating on the contact of the ball. Make sure you are brushing the ball on contact if you want more spin.
Don't think too much about ripping your hand over the ball, concentrate more on making the stroke in one plane and brushing the contact.
Good luck with it.
The pivot is where you are moving around your backhand corner to play a forehand. This is something that will come in handy in a match situation, especially if you have a stronger forehand. We will show you the best way to move in the pivot footwork.
