Strokes
Hello,
I have trouble performing the backhand sidespin flick similar to Fan Zhendong and Zhang Jike. The problem is that I hit the ball down to the net or I miss my timing.
please help me
Victor
Hi Victor,
Take a look at our lesson in the Strokes & Techniques section on the Backhand Sidespin Flick which will help you with this stroke.
If the ball is going into the net you may need to come more around the side of the ball or even a little under the ball.
Question actions
A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.
