Coach i play with the penhold grip. But i can play with shakehand to. (Both comfortable) if i have to choose between them it would be the penhold grip. The only problem is my penhold backhand. (Dont have this problem with the shakehand) what do u recommend? Learn the reverse penhold backhand or switch to shakehand?

Much thanks

Hi Melvin,

Both are legitimate ways to play so it is a matter of personal preference.

If it is the backhand that you want to be able to do then I think you should play with the shakehand grip.  It is easier to learn and execute.

The Finish Position
